Everything about this condo was nice, except for the deceptive description of it as a two-bedroom. It is a one-bedroom, with another bed in the living room. Not only does the bed take up the entire living room (if more than one person wants to watch tv they'll have to sit on the bed with you), but there is neither a closet nor any kind of bureau or storage for the person in the living room. You are putting your suitcase on the floor and using it there.
Everything in the apartment is fine - there is a kitchen and an adequate (small) bathroom. The owners put a lot of effort into weird quirky decorations like an antique typewriter (because Hemingway), astroturf on the walls, and a LOT of glassware. I would have traded all of that for a chest of drawers.
The balcony is small but comfortable and has a nice view of the sandy bayfront area (not a swimming beach) and the beautiful sunsets.
The restaurant by the pool is excellent and friendly. The complex itself is clean and in good repair. I would call it "unpretentious" rather than "luxurious," but that was fine with me.
