Taormina Hotel Guide - Hotels with Childcare in Taormina, Sicily

"Really great property and enjoyed our visit at the Mazzarò Sea Palace. Big shout out to Carmen from housekeeping that took extra good care of us and Salvatore on the beach who made things perfect! Loved the place so much! One thing I think people should know about when you travel to nice hotels in Sicily and this one in particular. They now add 15% gratuity and mention it as optional if you eat at the restaurants. Additionally, upon check out, they sum up a tip of 5 percent of total bill for a tip for all the staff. In essence you tip on top of tips. You can opt out of that or select another amount but it would be great if it was advised upfront as I’ve grown accustomed to tipping staff directly or house keeping directly. One then finds themself tipping at lunch/dinner then again having an amount pegged at end of stay by the property. They then tell you it’s optional. Not sure if the staff receives or if it goes to the top of the chain. Overall great stay but people should know about gratuity being baked in or proposed in final bill. "

"Had a lovely 4 night trip on my own. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast buffet with views over water. Convenient location for bus station and a short walk up to historic town. I would stay here again. Only small thing to be aware of is the lifts in the building stop inbetween floors, so as long as you can carry your luggage up/down some steps you are fine to stay here."

"This hotel was beautiful. All the rooms had sea views. There was a private beach. The hotel had a large outdoor sitting area with drinks and coffee service, there was also a large indoor seating area as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful."

"We had an amazing stay at Panoramic Hotel. The concierge is wonderful- we were able to communicate with them via WhatsApp to schedule a ride from the hotel to a vineyard and to and from the airport. The room was lovely and clean, with a balcony overlooking Isola Bella. Our room was a nice size and with a large shower. The hotel provides flip flops and a bag that can be used as a beach bag. They also provide two large beach towels to use during your stay. The hotel is located in a great location. Take the steps up to Taormina city or ride the cable car (Funivia di Taormina), which is a 3minute walk from the hotel. It is located next to some great restaurants, which overlook the water and some shops where you can purchase necessities like water, snacks, sunscreen, beach toys, etc. We enjoyed breakfast on the 4th floor- a buffet with a wide variety of options and fresh made coffee to order. Tables overlook the water. The pool is beautiful and perfect for a day of relaxing. There is a pool bar and bathroom facilities. We had to leave the hotel at 6:30am for a flight. The concierge had a to go breakfast waiting for us upon checkout. Such a wonderful surprise on our way out. We are sad to leave Sicily. We would definitely stay at Panoramic Hotel if we return to Taormina. Highly recommend!"
