"I was in town visiting a friend for nearly two weeks, and this little pod was such a delightful place to stay! Situated in a very charming Japanese garden, it was plenty private, cozy and comfortable. It also seemed bigger inside than the pictures might make it look. The hosts Ian and Caz were so kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. They stocked a basket with all kinds of snacks and breakfast foods and even brought us some home baked cake and scones. Parking was the only minor downside as had to park jn 3 different spots during our stay but dont let that put you off, still well worth it. "We absolutely loved the house and gardens. We wish we had booked longer to spend more time hanging out together there. Great for kids with the trampoline and large football pitch to run around on. Not far from the coast and lovely local villages + walks. Great to socialise in the evening in the different lounge areas and the hot tub was great! "

"A short stay to explore the Norfolk coast. I loved the attention to detail and decor of the cottage. If you like historic buildings then this place is for you! The top floor room has an old beam across it and is a struggle to get into but the kids liked it so that was a win. The cottage is quite dark inside and just enough social space for two adults and two kids. The courtyard garden is lovely and a great sun trap. Thanks for having us. "

"Lovely house, all as described or better. We were afraid that the garden might be too exposed to the road and hadn't actually realised that there was an additional bit behind the house. In the event, weather wasn't really good enough to spend much time in the garden but would have been great.. Our baby grandchild wasn't quite old enough for the facilities provided but two highchairs, stairgates and toys make it ideal for babies and young children. The only issue I could see is the parking and I think this should be mentioned in the listing. We have a Qashqai and struggled to get the car far enough off the road to be safe without going into the ditch although it was very wet weather and the verge was very muddy. Also you wouldn't be able to have more than one car...

"Excellent as always. This has been my go to hotel when travelling to the area for the past 15 years. The only criticism is that breakfast is maybe lacking a little. The continental choice should have fresh croissants and a slightly better all round selection. Apart from that minor criticism I would definitely recommend the Barnham Broom"
