"Just needed an overnight stay before an early morning appointment at Musgrove Park Hospital. This was a beautifully kept property, and so convenient for both the Hospital and for Taunton town centre. I am in a wheelchair, and although there was not a wheelchair accessible room available (it had already been booked), the staff found me a wonderful ground floor room that was totally suitable for my needs. "Lots of on-site parking, easy walk into town, its bed only no breakfast but that was fine for us, oddly there was no one on site, access to the property was by emailed code which was tapped into the front door access panel, but that was OK for us, same with the rooms. The only staff member I saw and spoke to was the cleaner. "

"Starting to need a little TLC. The hot tub lid is broken. There are missing dimmer switches and screws out of wardrobe door handles. In the games room the perspex glass on the side of the pool table was smashed and no ends on the queues. The dartboard wasnt fixed on the wall properly and not all the players work properly on the football table. Also had to rewire the karaoke plug. None of this ruined our stay as its a beautiful property with stunning views."

"The property and our room were beautiful. The bed was comfortable and no detail was spared in what was made available for our convenience and comfort. The owners were very friendly, the breakfast was great with a variety of choices, and Chris was very helpful with my dietary needs. Altogether an excellent stay; highly recommended. "

Bridget, Bas and all the other staff we met were charming, friendly and accommodating, including agreeing to bring forward our stay at almost no notice even though we had a fixed, non-refundable booking through hotels.com.
