This quaint property has a great proprietor who readily showed us wonderful places to go in the area and made good suggestions for our limited time. The room was comfortable and the standing fan was very helpful. This historic property is in a very walkable location to the lake.

This cute retro hotel is a short walk to the Lake. It has the best service ever - truly retro in a good way! They still tidy the room daily, bring fresh towels, offer laundry service, free bike loan, and are so helpful and informative. Highly recommend!

Lake Motel was awesome — tons of space, less than 5 minute drive to downtown Taupo, and the owner was super kind and helped us out with our laundry. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

The Lake Hotel was very cute and comfortable. Wish we had stayed here more than 1 night just because it was so cute! Host steered us to a delicious dinner at the Mole and Chicken and we overall really enjoyed our stay.
