Within driving distance is John Pennekamp Coral Reef National Park where you can take glass bottom boat tours, snorkel tours as well as fantastic diving trips. This community sports an array of amenities such as a fantastic swimming pool, boat ramp and dockage, as well as a full service bar/restaurant (hours and operations may vary)all within the gates. Enjoy the convenience of the on-site paddleboard and kayak rentals (additional daily charge for these items)
Just a short walk away from the pool area, our beautifully renovated unit is in building 2. This 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo features updated bathrooms, tile flooring, and modern upgrades like granite countertops in the kitchen. You can have a relaxing vacation within the community or as a resting spot between outings exploring the keys!

Marina Slips and trailer parking is available on a first come first serve basis through the Ocean Point community. If you wish to bring a boat down please inquire first to ensure storage space is available. Boat reservations MUST be made before arrival.

Please note there is a 2 car max per reservation.

My wife and I came down to buy a boat we found online. Beat it up. Nice place to stay with lots of great amenities and security that didn’t break the bank. Place was nice but a little deceived by the pictures online would definitely stay again for the price.

Nice facility with wonderful huge pool where I swam laps by myself every morning and evening. Cute private beach with a wharf out over the ocean. Nice that it is a gated area so very safe, and it was quiet. The condo was great for two couples, with bathrooms for both. The kitchen/living area was a good size. Just needed a bit of easy tender loving care - like new towels, some tissues, paint spots done. Travernier is a good location with grocery stores, restaurants, and beaches - and not too far from Key West or Miami.

Ocean Pointe base for the Keys
This was our first experience with the Keys - and we will be back. It is the Caribbean in America, and even better. Our condo at Ocean Pointe was a little tired, and several of the amenities were not available (restaurant and pool bar) but that did not ruin our stay. The pool was perfect. the beach great and the food truck Jojo's was great. We was people playing pickle ball and tennis. We really only slept at the condo but it was clean, the beds were really comfortable and everything worked. The property manager Star had excellent communication and the gate staff was very efficient. We kayaked, visited Islamorada, cycled in Key West and enjoyed dinner at Skippers Ice House and Marker 88.

Beautiful Sunrises 🌅
It was a a comfortable condo but older. Gets were very comfortable - table to sit at could use cushion on chairs- very hard to sit in. Could really use some upgrades. There is absolutely “No storage” for groceries that need no refrigeration. Plates were few-sure could use more dishes in general. Can opener didn’t work- rusty and stripped- had to borrow one from a neighbor.? Cookware a little more selection in size and maybe a better quality. We fixed 2/3 of meals in condo - so cooking utensils and pans could have been better. The oven took forever to get up to temperature/ shade I’d have that looked at. So the stay was OK. I’d it hadn’t been for the beautiful sunrises- review work of not he that favorable- mostly due to lack of storage on the kitchen and the second bedroom. Really need to make improvements on that some how. Drew and company were really terrific and responsive. Would stay at their properties again and only this unit - if more storage on kitchen is available and dishes and cookware better too.

The property was awesome and in a great location. Disappointed that the pool house cabana and marina clubhouse were closed. The only negative comment is the lack of bath towels and wash cloths in the unit. Overall a great place.

Typical Beach Condo
We usually rent houses when we travel, but ended up deciding to go to the Keys kind of last minute. Being a rather pricey travel locale, we were excited to find a condo with a pool and beach access at a reasonable price. Check-in was easy, and they sent oodles of nearby activities and restaurants to check out in their welcome messages. We had a nice welcome basket waiting for us. The condo was well-loved, but relatively clean. Porch view was of the nearby Mangroves, no beach view unfortunately. Relatively quiet, although the walls are quite thin. The beach itself is very small, and not as pristine as one would like from an Oceanside resort. The pool was the highlight. Very clean, huge, plenty of sunbathing chairs and tables for families. The snack bar and cocktail bar were a welcomed sight. The Daiquiris were yummy! Overall, for the location and price, our stay was pleasant.

Wonderful property
This is one of my favorite units in this property. The management company was easy to get ahold of and did a great job accommodating our group. This unit is very clean and laid out perfectly. I’ll definitely stay in this unit again when I return to the keys. It is super convenient to Islamorada and Key Largo.

Condo was well kept and clean. Master bed was very comfortable. Host gave good recommendations for food and excursions. Overall it was a great experience making lifelong memories while fostering an appreciation for nature. Our favorite trip was snorkeling the reef out of John Pennekamp state park just 15 minutes from the condo.

Lovely pool and check in process
I love the keyless entry; it made for a smooth process. The pool is wonderful. It would be nice if there were a board game or two at the condo. The pull out sofa was broken prompting us to buy and air mattress (very hard to find on the keys!) for the kids. The remaining beds were very uncomfortable.

With a little more owner investment, this would get 5 stars
Ocean Pointe is great, manager Drew Kiel is great, and the unit could be great if the owner invested a little more into it. It's fine if you just need a hotel room. If you want to live in it, it needs some upgrades, starting with a dining table and chairs where a family can eat. On the plus side, I gave Drew a long punch list, and he seems keen to get on it. With some small fixes to make the kitchen more usable and some additional furnishings, this place will be great.

All good, just some trouble with use of door lock. Use of pound key after 4 digit code was not well communicated from the start so caused some initial frustration, but after that a good time and good resort.
