Located in a well-maintained condominium on a second floor, this apartment consists of 1 bedroom, a bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with fireplace and a huge terrace including a separate sunroom with a private bathroom.

The apartment has a central location, just a few minutes' walk from supermarkets, the town centre, local shops, restaurants and the beach.

## Neighborhood

Santa Luzia is a small village located in the Algarve and known for their Octopus Fishing. From the earlier morning on the little fishing port comes to live, with all the returning fishing man unloading and sell the catch of that day.

There is a beautiful coastline of unspoilt beaches within a short drive, which are crossed by the Ria Formosa Natural Reserve, considered to be one of the seven natural wonders of the Algarve. The Praia de Tavira is the region’s finest and most popular beach, which is connected to Tavira by a regular and inexpensive ferry, which departs from the city centre (10-minute walk from the apartment) and also from Quatro-Aguas. The Island is 11Km long and is thought to be one of the best beaches in the Algarve Region. Many companies offer boat tours, including kayaking and paddle boarding.

Tavira is also a great location for golfers with a range of courses close by offering beautiful scenery in peaceful surroundings, including Monte Rei which has been ranked as the best course in the Algarve.

## Transit

Free public parking nearby. You can use the big parking space in front of the apartment but is not always possible in summer, but there will be plenty of space in the surrounding streets.

Fabulous location
The apartment in Santa Luzia was in a wonderful location. Positioned at the edge of town and within walking distance of restaurants, bars, beaches and mini markets. Tavira is a short drive away. The beaches along this stretch of coast were stunning. We enjoyed some amazing walks and they were generally deserted. The apartments’ terrace was perfectly situated with sun from sunrise to sunset. It would have been enhanced if there had been a couple of sun loungers. The bed was super comfy, but sadly the sofas were very uncomfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, and had a dishwasher which was a bonus, but the washing machine was on its last legs, with the water not really draining away and it made a terrible racquet! The hot water was a bit hit and miss too. Probably not a problem in the heat of summer, but in April it was a bit frustrating. Overall though it was a good apartment. Great value for money and in a great location.
