Only complaint was, I had a reservation. And when I got there they told me they were fully booked. They ended finding us a room at the Hilton which was a lot smaller and a smaller bed than which we were originally booked.

So overall I rate The Orleans as very good. Staff is very friendly and I like the choice of restaurants inside the hotel. Rooms are very spacious too. Location is not the greatest since you aren’t on the strip BUT you’ll probably save yourself some money. I would stay here again.

The room was nice but lacking the standard kettle/coffee machine. Check-in was ‘official’ if nothing else, accompanied by a $25 fee for a 2hr early check in. From the moment you step off of the elevator at the lobby level was the overwhelming stench of stale cigar/cigarette smoke, more so than other hotels in the area, and expect to pay $8.00 US for bottled water. I can’t say that I would choose this hotel again
