"I stayed here for two nights for parents weekend at Berkeley. It’s very clean and a nice hotel. The only problem and biggest problem is that my room ( actually all the queen rooms) was facing the main street so there was a lot of car noise specially at night when you want to sleep. Other than this it was a good hotel to stay in. "

The attached bistro opens at 6:30am and makes the best cappuccinos in the area against some stiff competition. Cheese Board pastries are just a few doors down. "The price is very decent for the room you get. Room is very clean, and the onsite manager is very kind. But you get just the room (which is OK if that's all you need)! Keep in mind this two-star hotel is located at the edge of the city. It's probably best choice for travelers who drive themselves. It's within 5 to 10 minutes walk to public transportations including Bart train station and several buses. But be prepared to walk through some poorly conditioned areas. "
