"Loved this place! Heritage property. Owners on site. During a power outage the hotel was the only business on the island to have a generator. No lights upstairs but candles were provided. Generator ran the kitchen and the restaurant was buzzing. The owners made the adventure fun!!! I’d stay again and hope for a power outage!"

"Alert Bay is a very nice very scenic costal community with lots of history. Gordie’s is right in the middle of it all, right on the water with excellent views of the ocean, sunsets are incredible. Food at the restaurant…the seafood linguine was amazing, sooo good! The room didn’t have a TV but who cares, things to look at were everywhere "

"Autumn in Telegraph Cove is a very chill and quiet time. All the rest of the tourists have headed home, and it's mostly locals and the foolhardy adventurous sort of traveller. Denise and Don's property was cozy and quiet with all the amenities you could as for as self-reliant guest, and afforded me a great base where I could enjoy breakfast and dinner, and prepare lunches for days exploring the north end of the Island. Denise was super helpful and welcoming, and I'd recommend staying here...

"Had a wonderful 3 days at Bob and Joanne’s suite! It is absolutely lovely and super well equipped. Location is excellent with restaurants and tours within easy walking distance.
