"The beautifully designed and furnished hotel still had a casual, welcoming feel. The owners live on site and are very polite and helpful, interested enough to feel engaged but not intrusive or nosy. The room was spotless as was the rest of the hotel and we appreciated the full-sized toiletries. The only negative thing I could say about the place is that there is a bit of road noise if you have the windows open. "

"We arrived after 1400, reception staff Mon existent. A cleaner helped us inside via the restaurant, still no reception staff! 10 mins later a member of staff arrived. Room not ready, no chance to eat in restaurant as full that evening. Other hotel restaurant in vicinity also full. Advised to go into Clusaz and try our look there! Balcony had 'view' of blank 2 storey wall, not hills or lake as detailed. Hotel is undergoing extension building works to finish in June 19."

We choose not to eat at the restaurant only because there was nothing that our youngest would have eaten but the chef was cooking on the terrace over an open flame, it looked and smelled amazing. So maybe some options for younger guests? Room was on the small side but functional for one night. A few cobwebs in the corners but that is easily fixed. Our room and our friends room had hairs all over the bathroom floor and in the bath so it was not clean enough. We had booked the restaurant for dinner and it was not busy when we arrived.
