"This cabin is clean and comfortable, and has everything we needed for our stay. It is 5 miles up the road from the state park, and has great views of the lake and mountains. The screened patio is especially nice because there are a lot of mosquitos in the woods there."

"We had a great stay at the Sweet Retreat! The cabin is a nice home base for spending all day on the lake. It looks to be well loved and is in need of a few fixes but nothing that detracted from the stay for us. It had everything we needed. Plenty of beds and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. It was hot out so the cabin got pretty warm but there was a fan that helped to keep it adequately cool. The deck is nice but the mosquitoes were out in full force, lol, so we didn't get...

"Nice place, fully stocked, very accommodating for us and our

. Owner was extremely nice to us. AC struggled to keep up during hottest hours of day (August) but was sufficient. Awesome grill! The hot tub was great and much needed after our hike at Icicle Gorge! Location is about 30 minutes from Leavenworth which was extremely busy this time of year as expected. Keep in mind there is no lake access near the cabin."
