"I have to say the pool area with the mangroves in the background is stunning , especially at low tide. Within five minutes of our arrival we saw a pair of sea eagles and a collared Kingfisher. The restaurant had a great range of options, cooked to a high standard and the staff were very friendly. The room was large and airy with a decent balcony. "Permai is fantastic, we had a treehouse and enjoyed waking up to monkeys and bird song each morning. It is a perfect place to just relax and do nothing or book some tours from. The staff were all lovely and helpful, if driving us themselves to catch a late afternoon boat trip. We extended our stay another night as we loved it so much."
