"We chose this cottage in the country to experience the local towns, people, the food, & history. We rented a car & used the cottage as base. Each day we drove to a different castle or locale.Even the Cliffs of Moher was a day trip. Roscrea village was close for groceries. Denise & Joe were very friendly, helpful, kind, & wonderful hosts. Loved all the decor, books, location & Denise’s Irish soda bread was YUMMY! Highly recommend. Debbi & Perry"

The kitchen is well stocked and has an amazing formal dining room for meals. The grounds are beautiful to walk and the view from the home of the Shannon River are lovely. "The Meadow View Farmhouse was a dream come true. Eamonn was an awesome host. He met us at the house with a wealth of information about the area and even booked us a visit to a local castle viewing. Lovely find in the middle of Ireland

"Nice quality food in bar menu and breakfast was good quality well served. My room was an uograde to A mini suite with additional hallway on a corner plot, so very quiet. Only down side was the WiFi in room was pretty weak and slow. Needed. Wi-Fi booster. Rest of hotel was fine. "

Superb hotel

"I was attending an event at the hotel and decided to stay overnight, rather than face a late night drive home. All the staff members I interacted with were extremely helpful, friendly and very professional. My room was on the ground floor and was superb. The bed was so comfortable. The room was large and very well decorated and very clean and tidy, I had a cooked breakfast the following morning and this was excellent."
