"Cottage is rustic but clean in an amazing location. The view out to the boats moored in the water is one of a kind. We cooked all our meals in the kitchen and it worked well for us -- good sharp knives was a plus. "What a great stay. Our first time in Maine, and New England and so glad we had this location. Booth bay is the “just right” costal town to stay in. 5 minutes from the harbor, so much to do locally, and the home was great. The property stole the show, though. The water, deck, dock, fire pit, grill, the trees! All so great. The house is large and well equipped, but could use some updating, better humidity control, and AC. Highly recommend."

"Had the good old field of what we always called a "camp." Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and glassware, etc. The lobster processing facility made for a bit of noise and a pretty steady stream of traffic. A lot of trucks, from pickups to semis coming in and out. Didn't really bother us a whole lot but it might bother other people. Overall the view of the water was pretty nice except for the power lines and there's not much that can be done about that. Have to have electricity after all."

"From the time we arrived to the time we left actually a day early the water had a very strong rotten egg smell many emails and phone calls to the management company and it was never resolved. We had to shower and wash dishes in rotten eggs.The home was nice, the mgt. company not recommended. I think owners should have access to guest/mgt company real time communications to head off such a bad guest experience."
