"Love the hotel embedded within older buildings within Tirano, yet still fully contemporary. Great location. Very spacious room, and enormous bathroom. Superb brrakfast, especially all of the local cheeses, fruit juices, yogurts, etc. The only reason for 4 atars rather than 5 was just how hard the bed was. For a side sleeper that us unbelievably uncomfortable and making for a more restless night. For mu stomach sleeping husband, it was perfect."

"This was a perfect propoerty for our family (2+2). the welcome was wonderful. The rooms were more than adequate for us. The breakfast was beautifully presented. One of our party is Coeliac and arrangements were made by the staff. Nothing was too much trouble. I really cannot fault this property or it's owners. We had a great time and hope to go back."

"The place is nice and modern. It's situated along a busy road and not in town, but that was fine for just a quick overnight stay. However, I was the only guest and it felt like they weren't really happy to have me there. "

"Extremeley friendly and helpful staff. Would reccomend this place for sure. Easy walking distance to the central piazza and lots of eating options. My advice for dinner, check out 'Da Beppe' about 1 block from hotel and well worth the visit for dining at night. "

"B&B Ca' Viro was a truly great find. We arrived by bus (from Sondrio train station) which dropped us right outside the front door - all for the measly sum of €2 each. Our room was wonderful and better than expected. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was excellent. The grounds are a sight to see and our room was only 50 metres from a path along the river which provided some great walks. Breakfast the nect morning was amazing!! "Overall, the stay was great. It’s a beautiful hotel with well kept facilities. The pool and spa are great. The breakfast is wonderful! We had only one complaint: the shuttle to the train station. Upon check out we were asked if we wanted to use it and said yes. It was scheduled to leave 10 minutes later and no one showed up to drive the van. We waited about 15 minutes after it was scheduled to leave and no one ever came. It was at checkout time so the lobby was very busy and we didn’t have time to stand in line to talk to someone at the service desk. We missed the train we originally planned for, took the bus to the station, and it delayed our return trip to Milan. It was a frustrating experience. Overall, the stay was lovely but that was a sour note to end on. "
