Closed by the government but great help in booking
"When we arrived we found out they had been closed down by Mexican government. The guard at the gate called the manager who then booked us into the 5 star hotel in downtown Tequila. It was a more expensive hotel but they covered the cost difference. Very impressed with how they handled it."

"Apparently VIP access doesn't mean much here. We showed up at 1 pm and were told that we couldn't check in 'til 3 pm. It also didn't pull any weight when trying to book a tour at the adjacent distillery. No matter--a nice lunch at the hotel's restaurant followed by a stroll to the Cuervo distillery ..."
