"This was the perfect spot for me and my group of friends to relax after a bustling day in Palermo. Our host Gabriele was very attentive and punctual. He was already there waiting on us to check in and was right on time when we were ready to check out. The property is gated and very private. We only wish we could have visited when it was warmer to enjoy the pool, but that shouldn't deter you as it made a great place for us to sit out and relax. 10/10 would stay here again!"

Proximal to some fantastic places like the Zingaro Reserve, Scopello, Salt Marshes on the West Coast and Erich. "Villa Marinella is perfectly located to explore this part of Sicily: San Vito Lo Capo, Erice, Segesta, La Tonnara, Castellammare del Golfo, Scopello++. There are fantastic beaches close by for swimming and snorkelling. The villa itself is perfect for relaxing by the pool or in the seating area during the heat of the day or for taking "sun-downers" The hosts Manuela and Marco were attentive and gave us good tips on places to visit and made great suggestions for restaurants. Can strongly recommend"

"The villa is very clean and comfortable and the hosts keep in touch so that you feel very secure throughout the booking process. It's situated off the main road amongst a beautiful backdrop of mountains and sea. It's airy and cool even in high temperatures. In terms of the local area - there are some wonderful beaches all around but you will need a car as it is off a main road and the local eateries are a short car drive away."

"Das Haus liegt in einer wenig besiedelten schönen Landschaft, nur durch einen Feldweg vom Meer getrennt. Wunderschöner Blick von der Terrasse. Sehr günstig als Stützpunkt für Ausflüge nach Palermo, Castellammare, Trapani, Segesta und das Naturschutz-Wandergebiet Zingaro. Schönes großes Schlafzimmer meerseits, die anderen beiden Zimmer sind sehr klein. Bei Problemen wurde uns von den Eigentümern bereitwillig und zeitnah geholfen. "

"The villa is pleasant enough situated just down the road from the village. We had several issues with it when we arrived but they were quickly sorted out by Claudia and her father who were both endlessly helpful. Watch out for biting insects which were a real plague despite insect repellent and citronella candles. Scopello is a pleasant little village with some nice places to eat. She gave us a tour of the house and offered to show us the neighbourhood (which is a gated residential community), and also offered to drive us to the local supermarket for our first shop.
