We loved getting fresh croissants from the bakery in the morning, and sitting on the terrace as the sun set after a busy day sightseeing in the surrounding towns and countryside. "The property was exactly as described and very comfortable Francoise and Benoit could not have been kinder or more accommodating and we had a wonderful 5 days. It is close to everything one wants to see, all in the most bucolic and beautiful countryside.An additional benefit is "la Pause Rabutin" on the corner, which is a delightful cafe. The property itself is a stone's throw away from chateau Rabutin, well worth a visit. I would be happy to return here at any time!"

"The house was very clean, spacious, comfortable and well equipped and situated in the heart of a quiet, traditional French village that was a really good base for seeing the area. The two en-suites and English television made it especially appealing to us. A really special feature of the house was that the owner delivered great freshly baked bread every morning and absolutely delicious, generous sized servings of home-cooked French meals as ordered. The three meals that we ordered were all yummy...

"Such a lovely property. We found it difficult to tear ourselves away from the scenic terrace of this gite. But we did go sightseeing and enjoyed so many historic and interesting places within an hour of home. The owner Sharon lives next door so any issues can be dealt with straight away, although there were none with us. I thoroughly recommend this lovely gite. We'll be back and for longer next time."

A week at Les Pommiers

"The whole group really enjoyed staying here for a week in August. There was plenty of parking in the front courtyard. The bedrooms were lovely and comfortable. Two of us enjoyed playing the grand piano in the upstairs sitting room. It had a lovely tone. This room was a beautiful and quiet space away from the action downstairs. The large kitchen/dining room was the hub of the stay and was very well equipped for cooking and eatiing, also for playing games and general gathering. There was plenty of floor space for the youngsters to play. The house was very tastefully furnished. The garden was great for sunbathing, al fresco dining, barbeque, badminton, paddling pool and water sliding and trampoline. Our friend appreciated having the independence of the cosy annex. It was wonderful to have bicycles available. We enjoyed the early stroll to the little shop to collect our pre-ordered baguettes and croissants plus other items. My daughter ran with the dog every day and we enjoyed exploratory walks alongside the pretty stream plus the table tennis table, slide and boules area. We had a great trip to the outdoor swimming pool with slides at Chambord. We went to Ennoyes on market day. There was no market, however, we did enjoyed the Renoir exhibition.and house. Most of our supplies were bought from the Intermarche at Chateau Villain, 10 minutes or so away. Thank you, Nicola and Nick for renting your beautiful house to us. "

The Dream House!

"Le Crebillon is an absolutely gorgeous house! Best property we have ever rented

"This rental property is a huge cut above anything we have ever stayed in...and that goes back many years. The properties have been restored to a very high standard, with taste and grace. The bedrooms are all beautiful, and the bathrooms immaculate. The living accommodation has been thoughtfully planned out to be versatile for any combination of events and people. We used the outside table for several al fresco dinners of 20, and we used the inside tables at both properties for meals also seating 20. There is plenty of tableware, and the kitchen equipment enabled us to cook high quality meals. We used the barbecues multiple times, the hot tub was a real treat, and the bikes got lots of use! The grounds are enclosed, so our dog happily roamed free, he had a great time too! Our host Nathalie was very helpful but happy to leave us as independent, which was perfect. All of us enjoyed staying here immensely, and we will definitely book again. Parfait"
