We were unable to stay here - the place was musty and dark with poor cooking facilities and a layout that didnt work for us - the terrace was unusable due to mosquitoes and we couldnt open windows to air it out for same reason. We are used to camping and would prefer a tent to this accommodation. At 200 Euros a night it is hardly BUDGET - and fell well below our expectations. We didnt even last 15 minutes...

"Beautiful house set in lovely gardens with stunning views of the hills and village below. The house was spotlessly clean with all the facilities we needed to make our stay so comfortable. 35 minute drive to Bilbao and just over an hour to San Sebastián and easy access to vineyards in the Rioja region. Mikel is a wonderful host giving us clear directions and getting us back in quickly when we managed to lock ourselves out.We hope to stay here again."

"Een mooi groot huis met 2 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers. Een aantal deuren klemmen op de grond en gaan niet helemaal open, het duurt wel 10 minuten voordat er warmwater in de badkamer is, verder een fijn huis met prachtig uitzicht."

Er is een barretje vlakbij, 20 meter, maar ik zou er niet gaan eten. Een drankje is wel gezellig tussen de kwetterende Spanjaarden."

"Our family stayed in the house for a couple of days and were really made to feel at home by Javier and Estíbaliz who prepared us a home cooked meal for our arrival (delicious croquetas and tortilla) as we were arriving late. The views were fantastic and the kids really enjoyed pool and pool table! Would highly recommend."

"Lovely staff but the hotel is looking quite tired and would benefit from refurbishment. The third/bunk bed is really only suitable for children. My 16 year old son said it was like sleeping in a coffin. Though clean, my own bed smelt a little and the sheets were ripped. I think many people have smoked in the room, despite the hotel’s no smoking policy. "

"We really enjoyed our stay as from start to finish the owner and staff were really friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. From getting a drink to getting around Bilbao. Amazing views and so peaceful location if you're looking for serenity and wilderness this is the place to go. We'll definitely be back!"

We are used to camping and would prefer a tent to this accommodation. At 200 Euros a night it is hardly BUDGET - and fell well below our expectations. We didnt even last 15 minutes before having to check out and find alternative accommodation at a huge cost. The owner, who seemed like a really lovely guy , has not responded to any requests for a partial discount - not happy - Do not recommend!"
