"Day manager is outstanding"

"The staff was nice and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was very poor. Options were few. Cold cereal, discolored bananas and oranges. Pre made sausage and egg sandwiches that were piled on top of each other and greasy. I passed on all food and grabbed a cup of joe that even with 3 creamers I got to my car and took a sip and it was awful. I threw it out at the gas station I fueled at to continue on my journey. "

"We stayed in a covered wagon. It was a very cool place to stay. There are interesting mannequins placed near the wagon. We thought they were funny but I could easily see how they may creep some people out. My only complaint (which is not the properties fault at all) was that bc it was SOO extremely windy out, the wagon was crazy loud and shaky. So my children were very scared and I couldn’t blame them. "The hotel was very nice. A little old but still very nice. the staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room had a king size bed and the room was big. Lots of space to open our 2 suitcases and leave them open. We had a table with 2 chairs and another chair for relaxing in. It is important to know that the rooms here do not come with a microwave or a coffee maker, although they do have a fairly large fridge. I was told you can get hot water at the front desk at any time and they do serve coffee...

"I personally love staying at the cactus cove Matt has done an excellent job from the remodeling to the decor the miniature golf course, corn hole the different sitting arrangements in the atrium to the beautiful fountain. "The rooms are great with okay mattresses. Staff is friendly and excellent. To enter the property, it is confusing. There is a bar/dance hall at entrance, so cars are filling the lot for that event, keeping the entrance obscure and without parking for overnight guests. We couldn’t enter the building on the backside where we had to park, and we had to drag suitcases all the way around the building. The outside area is dirty and uninviting around the building. "Despite being in the middle of a renovation, this was the comfiest, quietest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Breakfast was delicious. Love the Texas waffle maker! "
