"Staff were amazing during check in and check out, the car park was full when I called so I was directed to the nearest car park. The bed was comfy and the shower had a decent water pressure. Breakfasts available looked lovely but slept in too late to manage to have any! "

"Perfect for our one night stop-over enroute to another venue. It's quite a big, old building with some quirky features but we had everything needed in our room which was well presented. Staff were personable. Breakfast was good. The hotel sits on a one-way road system. It's compact car park is to the rear of the property. If you miss the hotel car park sign on approach and pass the hotel on your left, follow the one-way clockwise, turning left just before the hotel. "
"A warm welcome and clear communication. Very helpful friendly family run hotel. The hotel looks like it is slowly beind developed, so a bit dated in areas but clean, comfortable with easy parking. I had their chicken curry for dinner, really tasty. A great stay, I will definitely use again and llok forward to watch the transformation. "

Clear instructions for the location and parking

Fridge had individual butter, milk and jam plus washing things were provided

We sat on the sofa and the leg immediately fell off causing the sofa to collapse. This has been taped together.
Most of the cupboards in the kitchen were nearly hanging off.
The shower curtain was smelly and dirty.
Despite following instructions and the bathroom floor being bone dry, water poured through the kitchen ceiling every time we had a shower.
Two of the bed bases were broken.
The bath towels provided were tiny.
The host was easy to reach on WhatsApp and did help with a couple of other issues but unfortunately, for the money we paid, this property needs a serious overhaul. "
