"This is definitely budget accommodation, the unit was not flash and the upkeep to our unit poor, washing machine didn't spin out (leaving clothes very wet) and the door jammed making it difficult to exit (lucky we didn't have to exit in a hurry. However, if these things don't both you then the location is amazing, and there is a good variety of facilities. The staff were very helpful with extending our booking a further night when we had to change plans late at night. My conclusion is the staff...

"Although the cabin itself was clean, tidy, quiet and as described, the booking regime was over the top for a one night stay. After booking and paying through Wotif, I then needed to submit a photo of my license and credit card online to a third party before check-in info would be released (half an hour before 3pm on the day). I was also bombarded with around 7-8 emails about the booking and several texts. So extreme for what should have been a simple stay in basic accommodation."

"The Bosses Settlement was a real find and surpassed our expectations from the moment we arrived. Picturesquely located in rolling countryside, cahrmingly renovated, very comfortablely furnished (esp the beds),the Settlemnet had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. "Stayed 2 nights in the long weekend and it was really fun. Nice views and lot of places to visit. The home was really Cousey and reverse cycle A/C's kept us warm throughout our stay. We had an issue with the gas supply. It was resolved in a flash. Overall we enjoyed the stay and looking forward to re-visit next year."

"The property is lovely- very clean and the furnishings are tasteful and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped so you just need to bring food The atmosphere is all about relaxing and enjoying the countryside. We were 4 adults and 3 grandchildren under 8. There was plenty to keep the kids happy with games and books as well as the large enclosed yard with trees, cows nearby and a swing! All in all our 3 nights were so much fun"
