"Room was great for the price. We checked for bedbugs nothing there.. so that was a plus. The only thing I would suggest is putting some kind of air freshener in the room. Leaving the AC off and rooms leaves a smell. Other than that, we’ve stayed there multiple times and we love it. They do have breakfast that’s included. It’s not too shabby."

"The property is nestled in the Medina mountains in an 11 room resort and spa. The owners met with us each night sharing stories, laughs, wine and food. In the morning we hiked up the mountain trail to a cabin with a back deck that overlooked the hillside. If you want peace, quiet, no children and good old fashion conversation you will not find any better than Escondida Resort. The entire staff is humble, courteous and good people to share a cup of coffee or a laugh. I highly recommend this...

"Great little family get away for a few adult siblings and spouses. Thomas was very accommodating when we needed something. Nice place to sit outside and there was hiking close by. We also got to watch the eclipse and the owners provided viewing glasses which was an added bonus. "

"Very nice personal touches. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay very nice. It was my Birthday weekend and they even bought me a gift. They had homemade baked muffins that were so delicious. We felt right at home. I would recommend to anyone wanting to escape the city but, to be conveniently located to the nearby towns. This is a hidden gem, and the owners are very sweet."
