Location, natural ambiance and quietness. The building and rooms are wrongly designed and badly built. No maintenance as a result from door locks, electrical points, water taps, telephones- nothing works. The windows do not close shut and have no mesh. When we go out the monkeys have a field day with the food kept in the rooms. On the whole the hotel is a blot to Expedia recommendation.

What we booked were jungle view rooms but what they say all are jungle view rooms. Was not happy with what rooms we got and what were shown online. Not a good area where this resort is situated. Food was just OK and not so appreciative.

Rummet var inte rent och det var mycket insekter och myror som delade rum med oss. TVn var trasig och varmvatten fick man inte direkt i duschen utan i en separat beredare som man sen fick ösa från.

Rooms are ok, very spacious and standard is ok for 3 star hotel. The staff and location are the highlight of this hotel. I found everyone who works there to be very helpul, ambitious and very service minded. I can recommend a stay here, you will be in good hands.

awful place to stay.

It was a disappointment, the approach road is awful,maintenance filthy. The breakfast was included in package but only bread butter, single omlete, with one addition dish either paratha or pooribhaji or dosa was offered. It is limited and tasteless preparation. Suit booked was honeymoon but he gave us only ordinary room. I will recommend to never go in this resort. There is nothing which can qualify it as resort, no activity, no entertainment. The TV screen was 18", the size of desktop screen.

Decent stay

The lane towards the hotel is very narrow, hence not possible for mini van or bus to drop you close to the hotel. However rickshaw or car can easily travel. Limited food options are available. However food served are very tasty. The hotel staff and people are very good and make you feel at home. the Hotel is quite acquainted to take you around the city tour and are aware of all the local connectivity.

Bad : I wish to forget our stay here

It was my mistake to select this resort. Firstly the road to the resort is very much narrow, when we entered the room, we felt some bad smell, there were cockroaches, mosquitoes etc, room is not well maintained, very old look, and I had a feeling that I trapped because I did the full payment of our 3 rooms, now we must stay., so please avoide this one.

hii its really nice hotel , it's like hidden gems in thekeddy , kabir he is very nice guy and he gave us breakfast without checking in our package its included or not, it was included but i dont know what happend with expedia. over all hotel is great and good view , i suggest this property to honeymooner who has low budget and college guy who want to stay in good hotel in economy hotel..

Resort at the edge of town, by the jungle.

The proprietors were genuinely friendly and helpful. Beautiful complex. The chef was exceptional. The cuisine was of the highest quality.

A very comfortable stay. Staff with very good hospitality attitude and overall nice stay. The rooms are very good, except the approach road, everything is excellent. Food was very good including the dinner and breakfast. Especially they considered the options for kids for food menu. Definitely recommend it.

Ett jättefint hotell med fin service och väl omhändertagande. Läget är perfekt, precis intill Periyar Tiger Reserve. Maten i restaurangen var en av de bästa vi ätit i Indien. Jag rekommenderar verkligen hotellet - här får ni en fin vistelse

Excellent stay

I reserved this hotel for my parents. Their stay was exceptionally good. The hotel was fairly new. The lady in the reception was very helpful. Their service was excellent, staffs were helpful, very clean. I also paid for dinner when I made this reservation through hotels.com. The food was good.

Avoid if you are booking online; no parking too

1) They said they dint get mail from expedia and hence dint have a room for me 2) They dint help me find a hotel nor even asked how I will manage at 6pm even when i said I drove with my kid for over 8 hours! 3) They dont have a parking area and you have to leave your car outside on open ground with no security 4) Very small and bad road to resort 5) Lost an hour finding the resort because its so inside the town with now view or access to any hotel/shop at safe walking distance.

Excellent Stay

Excellent owners and staff. They arranged all the sight seeing for us. They go out of their way to help you. The jungle safari was organized in nearby Tamilnadu even though there was a local issue at Kerala. The shop Hilltop in Kumily, suggested by fathima for local shopping was very reasonable for the prices of spices and nuts. Overall very good experience.
