"Five 60ish cycling fans visiting for the Tour De France. Excellent property in a beautiful area especially if you are interested in cycling / hiking. Only down side is the opening days and times of local restaurants which caught us out a bit but the house is very well equipped and as we are all keen cooks then this wasn't a problem for us but may be for some. Not that much to do for kids. All in all an excellent trip and I would highly recommend the property for a similar group of people."

This had the effect of reducing the usable area of the 2.8 hectare property to the driveway and the apartment which was very disappointing to our group and difficult with small children. "The tower was absolutely beautiful and very unique, the craftsmanship was phenomenal and it was a lovely place to stay for a night. "We spent a wonderful week here this summer with our two young children. The location of the cabin is excellent, with a descent super market in the village, petrol station, golf club and a few bars. There are many beautiful villages within 20 minutes drive with restaurants and bars. 10 mins drive is a lovely lake which we swam in as well as hired a kayak, perfect when the temperature was 30 degrees! Also there’s a climbing/forest activity which we spent the whole day at less than 10 minutes away...

"The property was exactly as described and very comfortable Francoise and Benoit could not have been kinder or more accommodating and we had a wonderful 5 days. It is close to everything one wants to see, all in the most bucolic and beautiful countryside.An additional benefit is "la Pause Rabutin" on the corner, which is a delightful cafe. The property itself is a stone's throw away from chateau Rabutin, well worth a visit. I would be happy to return here at any time!"
