"We really liked the location of the property. It’s close to a downtown area where there are a lot of restaurants. The staff at the front desk were very friendly as was the lady who did the breakfast in the morning. The room and the common areas were clean and well kept. My only knock on the place would be that it was unseasonably cold while we were there and we called the front desk in the evening for another blanket but could never get anyone to pick up the phone despite several tries. But...

"The Banyan staff was truly terrific, The shower was not working in my room. After trying to fix it failed, the staff quickly moved me into another room. The Banyan is in a great location, close to shops and restaurants. We could walk to all of our meals. The room are very spacious, My only criticism is the lack of a microwave in the room. There is a refrigerator and coffeemaker, There is a microwave in the lobby but that is not convenient,"

"I saw a bunch of negative reviews before booking my trip, but decided to give it a shot. Well, it turned out to be a good experience. The room was large and clean, although a bit dated. The staff was responsive, and the pricing was fair. The best part was the Bay View, it was spectacular and relaxing. The free breakfast was mediocre, but included all the basics. Parking was free. I would stay here again the next time I'm in Ft Myers."
