The woman that works at the front desk is awful. She is not accommodating at all. Prior to check in we received and email telling us we can do an early checkin for $20 so I selected to do that. Upon arrival the woman says they don’t have any clean rooms (the motel is completely empty) I told her I paid for early check in and she tells me to come back at 2. She didn’t even bother to look if she had any clean rooms while I stood there. At 2 she miraculously had a clean room, thank god. On the same online portal we requested a late checkout, we go to ask her and she says the latest she can do is 12 (online it gives you the option of 1pm or 3 pm checkout) she says “we have a full house so the latest I can do is 12pm” There were maybe 20 cars in the parking lot of a 3 story 2 unit building of hotel rooms, which had PLENTY of open rooms around the one I was staying in. However, once again she didn’t even bother to check her computer system to see if we could do the late checkout. If this property isn’t going to be accommodating in any way for these early checkin/ late checkouts they shouldn’t offer them and take money prior to arrival for these accommodations. Then prior to checkout our keys locked us out of the room 30 minutes before we were having to checkout so our dogs were stuck in the motel room while we had a key that didn’t work. We had to go back to the front desk AGAIN to get the keys fixed. Overall, the customer service here is actually appalling. Do better.
