Staff members let us stand at the front desk for a while. We could see her sitting in the Backroom. Didn’t bother to get up. I was tired so maybe a little more frustrated than I should have been. Dogs barking in other rooms was bad. Smokers smoking outside the entrances. Had to walk through it every time.

We where pleasantly surprized by the complimentary wine and beer at 6-8 .. was very nice to meet and chat with other people staying at the hotel, We even brought the dog to lobby and a couple from the Netherlands can over to see her and my mother in law was from Belgium and they had a lovely chat .. they said it made their day to meet someone from Europe this wouldn’t have happened had we not gone down for the free happy hour … and our bartender was fabulous..kind and friendly. Nicely done Wyndham.

Definitely not worth $140 per night. Tub in shower filled up within 3 minutes and took a long time to drain. Mattress has support foam under them that is crumbling from age. Furniture looked worn and not updated. Breakfast was not worth the stay, ate elsewhere. Very disappointed. Staff was fantastic and pleasant. We’re taking Wingate off our list of go-to hotels.

The location was ok. Several restaurants within walking distance. Exterior and lobby/dining area have been updated so gives good impression when you arrive. However, rooms are in need of an overhaul especially the bathrooms. Dirty caulking dirty door which we had a hard time closing. Overpriced.

Sits right in the middle lane of I-75. So loud from 18 wheelers the windows and doors shake. I did not sleep a second and had a migraine all night. Who ever is getting paid to rate this hotel as excellent should be fired.
