"We originally booked a 1 bedroom but the night before we got there we were told that wasn’t available and we were being given a different unit. I felt uncomfortable with that at such late notice but the house we were given was much larger and grander. The location was perfect for our stay and travels. The owner was kind and helpful. They have a family farm and were working a lot so we appreciated his time. The views are pretty and it was very peaceful."

By American standards the bathrooms are great and there was a king-sized bed! We really appreciated being able to do some laundry. "If you want a taste of true rural Ireland, this is the place to stay. The Thatch and the Shed are both beautiful, modern, clean and highly kept up. We used this property as our home base for day trips to Kilkenny, Callan, Waterford, Wexford, Glendalough, Blarney Castle, and Kilarney. "

"We chose this cottage in the country to experience the local towns, people, the food, & history. We rented a car & used the cottage as base. Each day we drove to a different castle or locale.Even the Cliffs of Moher was a day trip. Roscrea village was close for groceries. Denise & Joe were very friendly, helpful, kind, & wonderful hosts. "The Meadow View Farmhouse was a dream come true. Eamonn was an awesome host. He met us at the house with a wealth of information about the area and even booked us a visit to a local castle viewing. The attention to detail that he has put into refurbishing this old farmhouse is phenomenal. The views surrounding the house were spectacular! We even got to experience a local farmer moving his cattle from one pasture to another on the road in front of the house. A true Irish gem and we will...

"Our stay exceeded all expectations. Tom, the owner could not of been any nicer or helpful. The cottage was well stocked. Food markets in Tipperary were close and convenient. The cottage and garden are stunning. We highly recommend staying in the cottage if you are looking for a fairytale. When we first arrived the cottage was hard to find at night, but a quick call and Tom was out with a flashlight to guide us in. What a great host."
