"I like these apartments, they are an easy walk from the station. They are simple but smartly done. The sound proofing on the windows is excellent and if you are in a room at the front of the building you need it. The TV reception is a bit sketchy for the foreign channels but the WiFi is good enough to watch things on your own devices. "

"The property and rooms were very nice, clean and spacious. Breakfast is not available but a ahort ride into town iffers several options for eating. Keep in mind that there is not an elevator and it seems that the rooms are on higher levels. Overall I would recommend staying here as it is secure and a lovely place."

"Excellent value for the money! The flat has a perfect location. It is within walking distance to a supermarket, and two precious French towns, St. Louis and Huningue. Both towns have a pharmacy, bakery, restaurants, and shops. Colmar, France is 45 minutes away and the train station in Basil is about 6 km. "

"We stayed with our 6 year old and had a very nice time, a bed was set up for him on the couch! The flat and location is very quiet and cozy and in an easy location to explore Basel. Check in was simple. There is a great coffee shop, Coop (grocery), and pizza within walking distance and is very easy to get to from the train station as well. "Great stay, excellent location next to train station but facing away from crowded area. Directly next to tons of transportation - which is free for tourists! Breakfast was nice in gorgeous panoramic dining room. To clear up the piece about the dual front desks - the hotels are CONNECTED -its a 10 second walk to the other hotel. I didn't have the need to do so. Very happy with stay, will be back for sure. "

"Everything about this hotel works well. Good location near the city centre but is quiet during the night. Try and get a garden room rather than one facing the street. Breakfast is eye watering in price but it’s nice. Restaurant can do an evening meal but it’s not a great choice."

"Very good stay with very friendly and professional staff and great breakfast. Fantastic location in the historic center. We requested extra duvets as the 2 single ones given were not sufficient, especially in January which the staff gave us without a problem. There is only one liquid soap in the shower which you need to grab to wash hands. Didn’t see any recycling bins but maybe the system is different in Basel. Would return as it’s a great place to stay in this city. "
