Enjoy sunbathing or play beach games on the wide soft sands and then cool off in the ocean. The water off the beach is fairly deep, making it an excellent place to swim. There are often small waves to jump over as they break gently on the shore. Rent a kayak or windsurfer from one of the resorts at the beach and head out to sea for a beautiful view back toward the palm-fringed sands.
Take a walk north along the sand to gaze back at the hazy outline of PhanThiet in the distance. Watch small fishing boats heading in and out of the harbor with the catch of the day.
After a day in the sun, make your way from the sand to one of the beachside resorts. Most have bar areas set in pretty gardens where you can indulge in a cocktail or two as the sun goes down over the glistening South China Sea. Stay into the evening and enjoy a meal of freshly caught fish prepared Vietnamese style.
