Tillamook Nook #2

Our calendar is updated in real-time & our nightly rates are accurately displayed. Simply enter your desired dates and click 'Book Now!'

Surprise your loved one with an amazing beach-front vacation at this newly remodeled Oceanside Inn unit for two! You can even bring along up to two of your dogs for this adventure-filled week.

Walk just a few steps down the stairwell to the sandy beach for surfing, beach combing, and simply relaxing while listening to the waves crash against the shore. End your fantastic day with a glass of wine on the shared deck while watching the sun set over the horizon.

Although this beautiful unit does not have a kitchen, it's much more than just your average hotel room. The decor and attention to detail is amazing, and is sure to create the perfect space for you and your sweetheart to spend a relaxing getaway.

The king-size bed with its pale yellow bedspread is set atop a stunning natural wood bed frame, and completed by the matching end bench.

After a steaming shower in the attached bathroom (with a tub/shower combination and heated tile floors), doze off to your favorite late-night TV show on the wall-mounted flatscreen TV. WiFi, cable, and a DVD player are included for your convenience.

Your dogs will even love this vacation, so don't forget them! Keep in mind that there is an associated fee and that up to two dogs are allowed. The first-come, first-served parking lot has three newly installed electric vehicle charging stations (two for Teslas and one generic).

Walk to the nearby eateries for everything from fresh seafood to homemade pie at Roseanna's Cafe. You'll stay full and happy at this prime location. And your clothes will stay fresh and clean with the shared laundry facilities, which is great for drenched clothes after an amazing hike through Oceanside's Tunnel Cave nearby. Drive a few miles to Tillamook for more shops, eateries, and the air museum.

No matter who you spend it with, this newly refinished oceanfront condo will be a vacation rental you talk about fondly for years to come.

Please note that while cell phone reception can be poor in Oceanside, it tends to be more reliable two miles south in Netarts. This property has a Verizon signal booster. For your convenience, there is an outside phone available under the carport with free long distance if needed.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.
This rental is located on floor 1.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) Perfect little place to stay in Oceanside, Oregon
The place was clean upon arrival. The outside deck was the perfect place to hang out and enjoy the ocean. We enjoyed Oceanside beach and restaurants during our stay. The only thing about the room is the air unit had an annoying ticking sound when the a/c was on. Location was great. We would come again.

Perfect for one night
We thought the space/room offered everything we needed for one evening. The room was clean and stocked with “essentials”. The neighborhood does not take away from the location of the room. Parking is a bit tricky. Overall we were happy with our decision to stay here.

I enjoyed my stay at this property for two nights in mid-September. It was clean and had all the basics I needed. Also, I loved the access to the beach as well as the amazing deck overlooking the ocean.

AC Unit in Room Doesn't Work
Everything about the rental, including check in and check out went very smoothly even without cell service out there. However the air conditioner was not working when we arrived, and we were basically told that there was nothing that could be done besides having a fan brought to us. Since there was already a fan in the room, it's obvious that the manager was already aware of the issue with the AC and didn't bother advising us ahead of time. Luckily the weather cooled off after the first day but it was still over 70⁰ in the room the whole time, which is incredibly frustrating considering we specifically chose this place because it had AC. The manager was supposed to reach out to me to discuss but they never did. We will not be renting from Vacasa properties again.

Lovely beach - NOT oceanview
Pros: Viewing Deck Location Cons: Not an oceanview room The AC didn't work Lots of noise from parking lot/other rooms Thankfully the weather was nice and we could spend the day on the beach or viewing deck, otherwise we would have asked for a refund. The AC would turn on for up to 20 minutes and then shut down, it never cooled the room off. They tried to fix it, but it's been a reoccurring problem. But the beach is lovely and the town is cute.

We arrived an hour early to a rude woman informing us that "check in was AT 4!!" We did not return to the room after check in until about 10 pm. NO PARKING. (They encourage carpooling and advise that you might get one spot) If you want to cram in and not leave in your car...The "stairs" to beach are at your own risk literally. The wood is rotted and the "path" is questionable. There were about 4-5 people folding laundry out front but they were not helpful or friendly. We did NOT feel welcome or like guests...more like an annoyance. The A/C did not turn on despite my husband's best efforts...then we turn on the 8" tv to have a message that the service has not been paid for. Top that off with the " kitchen" was a microwave and mini fridge. The "update" must be the new comforter and pillowcases maybe paint on the oar on the wall.....?!? The deck has nice views if you want to stand, the glass is too dirty to look through. Oh yeah did I mention the yapping dog and loud children at 11 pm?? Hubby and I left after 1/2 hour here and paid for a resort in Portland instead just to get away from this nightmare. I messaged the host twice to get zero response. Add in the gunshots and car alarms and yeah....it was a NO from us!!!

Do not stay with Vacasa
I booked this trip for some quiet rest and relaxation. I got anything but that. To start, I sent a message several days ahead of my stay. Vacasa never replied. When I got to the property, the door code didn't work. Had to drive 10 minutes to find signal so I could call their 800 number. The room itself was fine, but it's literally just a hotel room, not a typical vrbo setup. There is no sound dampening between the rooms and the neighbors were SO LOUD. Either the thermostat or the hvac itself was not working. A trip to the beach is still a trip to the beach, but I highly recommend finding different accommodations.

Cute little studio
First impressions were very good. Clean, attractively decorated and cozy. The floors in the bathroom were heated with a really nice tile floor which was a nice addition as the weather was cold and we got wet a lot. The bed was memory foam and a bit hard for our taste. We didn't like the CFLs, dimmable LEDs would make the room much brighter. TV was very small and the only way to hear it was to turn to 100% volume. Sound was not clear but the TV controller did not allow us to fix the treble or bass. The guide button on the remote did not work. Unfortunately there must be no sound proofing between rooms as the place was really noisy from our neighbors. We could hear entire conversations. The refrigerator was rocky because it was not leveled. We suggest a bath rug or mat for stepping out of shower. We wanted to sit outside when it was not raining but the cushions for the chairs were moldy and soaking wet from laying on the ground in the water. Should have a place to keep them so they stay dry. Someone had apparently started a load of sheets in the guest laundry and left while the clothes were in the dryer. The housekeeper never removed them so we had to in order to use the dryer. Perhaps don't suggest guests help the housekeeper out by starting a load of laundry. Lastly, the staircase to the beach has some issues. The bottom landing is slanted down and it looks like the foundation is slipping down. We didn't feel safe on the lower level so we went to the public entrance down the street. Overall though it was in a great location and we enjoyed our stay.

Best Kept a Secret
Perfect “off the grid” stay on the beach. Not for those into ALL the amenities, so for us, it was perfect! Beach walks/runs, shell/rock hounding, kite flying, short drives exploring the surrounding area, bird watching, reading and relaxing. Local eggs, fresh picked chanterelles and of course fresh oysters on the half shell. Our last evening spent at an amazing restaurant with an all-star staff. We’ll be Back!

A room right on the ocean
The room was as described, just a room with a coffeemaker, microwave(I was mistakenly told I had access to a stove) and a mini fridge. No cups , mugs or glasses at all. But two plates, bowls and utensils. Plus a dog bowl. Clean towels, plenty of hot water for nice showers. Community washer and dryer with detergent. Great channels on TV, WHEN we watched. You can hear the neighbors really well considering there is a door (locked) between the two spaces. But most everyone was polite and quieted down at about 10 pm. Super handy to have a door with code access, no worry about carrying a key around. And then the beach access, AMAZING! Just a walk down the street OR stairs right on the property to go put your toes in the water or your butt in the sand. Super nice deck with chairs and loungers overlooking the ocean with a glass railing to maximize the view. Can't beat this a whole experience and the price was good for this wonderful location. Yes, we will be back. We will bring our own glasses. Everyone, our fellow renters, was super courteous and friendly. The option to bring the dog was wonderful as well. He loved it! Parking is tight though, don't bring a truck or large SUV. Our jeep was barely comfortable to park. If we squeezed in tight, the lot can hold 8 cars. And there were a couple of spots on the street but that is puic parking of course. Ran into the ladies who clean the property, super kind and helpful. Glad to offer some extra towels. We had a great stay.

Filthy. Health hazard.
We booked this room because Im high risk for covid and Vacasa claims to have an extensive cleaning protocol. The room was filthy. Bed had stains and hundreds of hairs on it, the floor was sandy and hairy, all surfaces were dusty, the previous tenants hair tie and toothpaste was left behind and the checkin took hours as the code they provided didn't work. In addition , the housekeeper was not wearing a mask. Im truly concerned for my health after this terrible stay. We left after 1 night and are still waiting on compensation for the stay that was not as advertised.

Nice location with two flights of stairs directly to the beach. Good for what we needed for a good price. A warning, not sure for all beds, but our bed matress was crazy firm. Hard to sleep on if you're not used to it.

great location and price, but strongly smelled of smoke
Can't beat the location or price, and the decor is very modern and nice, but the room reeked of cigarette smoke. The bathroom also smelled of urine, even though it looked clean. I aired the place out for a good 2 hours and probably just got used to it after that, but when I got home all of the clothes I'd worn in the place (for a single night) smelled of smoke. I certainly didn't see anything in the details about this being a smoking unit, so I was very disappointed. I hate to leave bad reviews especially because it was so great in so many other ways, but this was a big negative and would make me think twice about staying at this unit again. Lastly, the walls to the adjacent unit are very thin (can hear others' conversations very clearly).

We'll be back
We had a fantastic time, even ventured out to Portland for a day. We lucked out with fantastic beach weather, enjoyed the cafes and coffee shop nearby, and our pup was thrilled to join. The patio area was perfect for sitting/laying out and reading, enjoying the ocean and sunshine. We stayed in Nook #2. The tv in our room didn't work, and at times we could hear a lot of noises coming from the surrounding nooks and outside. The parking was not ideal for our large vehicle, but overall we could not have had a better weekend getaway. We are hoping to get Nook #1 next time we come back with friends.

Perfect location
My favorite thing about this place is the location! Not only is it right on the beach, but it's also next door to the best seafood restaurant in the area (Rosanna's) and walking distance from coffee and breakfast. The room was also nicer than expected. The heated floors in the bathroom, mini fridge and microwave, and comfortable bed were a pleasant surprise! The only problem with these units are that the walls are paper thin. We were surrounded by children on both sides and were woken up each morning early to them crying screaming and running around, so it was hard to relax. With these units being so close to each other they REALLY need some kind of noise cancellation. Another downside was the parking situation. There's about 12 units here and only 6 parking spots for everyone. Street parking is available but is also pretty limited! Overall we had a pleasant stay and would most likely come back. We found over 10 sand dollars on the beach right in front of our place and walking distance from the tunnel to the Secret beach makes up for the screaming children every morning! Thank you! -Amanda
