"Shindzela offers the type of safari experience that is sadly dying out, to be replaced by glitzy, costly options that separate visitors from the real bush. Our guide was excellent; calm & professional even when another group was shrieking and whooping (TIP, wild animals prefer quiet). Our tracker was keen-eyed, polite and focussed. The cooking/cleaning staff clearly took pride in their work. I feel Shindzela is excellent value for money and should form a part of many more travellers' trips....

"I'm sure there are more luxurious lodges but this place is more than luxurious enough for 'normal' travellers. Most importantly all the rooms have aircon that works! "Our stay at Geiger's was absolutly perfect. Our guid Victoria did an outstanding job. We have seen perfectly the big five. My wife and I had also the opportunity to do a bush walk with Victoria. She knows everything what goes on in the bush.The food, room and service was perfect. On one drive Mrs Giger the owner of the camp and her grandson joined us and immediately all attetion went to the two which we did not really appreciate as we were paying gests. However overall this was not an issue."
