"We highly recommend this hotel! From check-in to check-out, all the staff were friendly and helpful. We’d like to especially thank Ms.Sherbet and Ms. Debora for their exceptional service. Of course, the male staff member was also very kind, though unfortunately we didn’t get his name. During our stay, the weather was quite hot and the room temperature rose a bit, but we requested a large fan and it was promptly provided. "We spent a week here and wish it had been longer! The stunning mountains and lakes provide a back drop to a brilliant staff and service. Plenty to does at the Inn and the region without needing a car. Wonderful breakfast and dinner options at the Inn and take advantage of the daily activities listed in the Rossl Post. You made our Anniversary truly special. Thank you to Johann and Stephanie especially. "

"Amazing, wonderful and out of this world is what I would say. Not only the location is gem but the hospitality from the staff is heart warming. Me and my wife stayed for just 2 days but it was one of the best experiences that we can get. The breakfast was with multiple options and was of top quality. Do stay at this place if you want a good time."

Changed property, poor communication

"I booked 1 room in Hotel Sonnenhof on 16th February, via Hotels.com, for a stay commencing on 28th May. Hotel sent me a message on 27th May that I was not in Hotel Sonnenhof in Timelkam, but at an apartment in Lenzing, 4.5km further away. No pre-warning was given, no rationale for the change in location, no option to cancel or reduction in rate was offered. I was very upset when I received the message on 27th May (the day before I was due to stay at the hotel). It was really inconvenient to be in a different location from my friend, and required that I drive back and forth from Timelkam to Lenzing multiple times. As I was only informed the day before the stay was due to start, I had no option to cancel and rebook elsewhere as nothing else was available. In addition, the apartment was in a poor location, not of a good quality, and the kitchen crockery was incomplete. The hotel reception was very slow to respond to communication, and only available in the mornings. Do not stay here - very poor service."
