The hotel was very conveniently located to Paddington Station and had many great dining options nearby. Unfortunately, due to the age of the hotel and it's proximity to the station, a restful nights sleep was difficult to attain. The trains rumbled beneath until the wee hours and resumed early as well, and the sound between floors was considerable with footsteps and closing (slamming) doors being very obvious. Overall a good option, but some investment in soundproofing would be beneficial. Would not be my first choice again.

From the minute this weary traveler stepped foot into the restaurant/pub I knew this would be a huge bonus to my trip other than just a room!
The entire staff were amazing! The food was so delicious (especially the DEEP FRIED BUTTER CHICKEN - the lamb shanks, and many other dishes.The rooms were very cozy and the beds are big. I throughly enjoyed my stay .. the only drawback was that the fan on my thermostat didn’t seem to be able to be adjusted..so I assumed it was at a set speed.
All in all this American loved the hospitality!
