"Das Ferienhaus ist sehr schön und hat alles was man braucht. Der Ort selbst hat nichts zu bieten. Zum Einkaufen und nett was essen gehen, muss man ein wenig fahren. "

They also couldn't find the key after speaking to the owner, eventually gave me the spare key but it was a bit stressful at the time. "Lovely location and clean property. Niggles were around the owner not responding to questions about what would already be there (there were filters for the coffee machine, now there are 2 boxes! There is a car charge point nearby but no idea if we could have accessed it). We also weren’t sure if we were allowed onto the jetty but presumed we were. But a nice quiet place to stay."

"A superb apartment in the heart of Harlingen. Near to the center and walking distance to everywhere. Furnished to a high standard with everything you needed. The host, Frank was especially nice, let us store our bikes in his garage. We will most certainly stay there again."

"Wir haben uns sehr gut erholen können. Es ist alles vorhanden von Kaffeemaschine bis fließenden Wasser. Eine sehr schöne und gepflegte Unterkunft. Ein Hundestrand ist in der Nähe und mit dem Auto oder Fahrrad gut erreichbar. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind fussläufig nicht gegeben, aber mit dem Auto sehr gut und schnell erreichbar. Das einzige was man vielleicht verbessern könnte wäre eine Klimaanlage im Chalet."

In Makkum genoeg te doen als je van watersport (surfen, zeilen) en natuur houdt. Gezellige stadjes in de buurt (Workum, Hindeloopen). Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar."

Die Vermieterin hat uns nett begrüßt uns alles erklärt und gezeigt. Wir waren mit einem kleinen Hund dort was sich sehr anbietet, da das Haus in einer ruhigen Gegend liegt. Zum Meer Brauch man zu Fuß nur etwa 10 Minuten. Wie kommen gerne nochmal wieder. "

"We really enjoyed our stay in the very spacious house. The furnishings are very tasteful and cozy, the beds very comfortable. The communication with the very nice owners was excellent. We would have to come back in summer, the pool and the terrace look very attractive. For fans of large cooking sessions with more than 4 people, the cooking utensils may not be sufficient, but for us everything we needed was there."

I loved the Nespresso machine and the daily capsules complimentary refill, also nice emptied mini-fridge for use and kettle. Room was large and very clean. My room had an outdoor terrace but the view are not nice as they overlook vents and tubes from the restaurant next door. Heating worked perfectly fine. "

"Overall, a bit basic but it was an okay stay for one night in the winter. Mostly just the lack of transparency, as the hotel reception charged triple the amount of the 'additional fee' than what was listed on the Expedia site when booking. Otherwise fine for what you pay - thank you!"
