An old man help us to called the given tel no. and sent us to the lady in the restaurant who helped us to check in and transfer to different cabin because there is a van that is charging in the given cabin. The check out is the another problem, still no receptionist present, an old lady help us. "

Das Haus war leider bei Ankunft nicht sehr sauber. Es war noch Geschirr in der Spülmaschine und insbesondere die Dusche ließ deutlich an Sauberkeit zu wünschen übrig. Außerdem war die Versorgung mit Strom problematisch. Spülmaschine und Heizung konnten nicht gleichzeitig laufen, sonst flog die Sicherung raus."

"Speziell mit Haustier (Hund) und einem eingezäunten Garten ist es ein idealer Ort. Eine gute Raumaufteilung, die insbesondere für Gemütlichkeit sorgt. Großes verkehrsberuhigtes Areal fast ohne Autoverkehr, ermöglicht ruhige Gassigänge. Vielleicht der einzige Wermutstropfen im November ist das unbeheizte Badezimmer, woran man sich aber schnell gewöhnt - die Dusche wird heiß;-)"

"Place is great for kids, with lots of activities and close to the beach. Most of the staff are very friendly, but usually only one working in the reception which can mean long waiting times. The place definitely needs to do better on cleanliness, one of the bed mattresses had blood stains. There are no fans or air conditioning so if you’re going during the heat prepare to be really hot and sweaty during the night. "We had a great stay one-night stay at the Gilleleje Badehotel just outside of the high season. Everything about the property feels premium. The room was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. We opted to eat in the hotel dining room and the food prepared by Vik was exceptional. We’re talking perfectly seasoned and beautifully cooked European dishes with top-end restaurant presentation. The cost of the meal for two was equivalent to the board but was absolutely worth the price point. I couldn’t believe the whole service was produced by a single chef. Brits be warned there are no kettles in the rooms. Instead the hotel lays on coffee and sweet treats for guests to enjoy every afternoon. (You can get hot water from the kitchen at any time though.) The vibe at a badehotel (bathing hotel) is a cross between a BnB and a guesthouse. The average age skews slightly older but we enjoyed the more relaxed pace and communal atmosphere of the hotel. The sauna and steam room were an added bonus and the cosy lobby with log fire provided welcome respite from the rain. All the staff were really welcoming and attentive. Natalie went the extra mile to make us feel welcomed, offering great chat and plenty of advice on travel around the Danish Riviera. We would definitely come back again. "

"I love this place. It was a beautiful, quiet and quaint. The food was local and amazing. The staff were pleasant, attentive and social. There was plenty to see within driving distance. The water was beautiful and cold, although it’s a rocky beach, so bring water shoes. "
