"This is an excellent holiday property. You climb up to it via hairpin bends so take your time and just let the locals pass you in thier Fiat Pandas. The house is a few hunded metres out of village and such a tranquil spot. I almost dont want to give a god review to stop this place becoming to booked up for my next visit but that would be selfish. If I was to suggest an improvement, it would be a little more kitchen equipment - there was no sharp knife for cooking, no collander, few wine glasses and an oven tray that didn’t fit the oven. "The small house is in a secluded spot with fantastic views of Castiglione and the mountains, both from the terrace as well as the bedroom. The outdoor pool and jacuzzi were a really nice addition. "Unbelievably stunning setting. You will need to be a confident driver to manage the roads up to the house as the roads are steep and winding as you would expect in Tuscany. The smell of Jasmine and the natural peaceful surrounding beauty is amazing. We used the pool everyday and enjoyed a bbq too. "The old mill is beautifully renovated with all the amenities needed for a very relaxing stay. The pool was always clean and when we had small problems with the lights the host came right away and took care of it. It's right next to a creek which is perfect for a quick bath in the morning. Elisabetta is the best host and the area around the house very beautiful. We would always come back."
