The hotel facilities and staff were outstanding, going over and beyond to assist guests. The only downfall is the location, which is in the heart of a party atmosphere with many touts and uncleanliness.

Even though the hotel is in super-busy Shinjuku, our room was quiet. Very small room, though, which is pretty normal. Sadly, the deck around the Godzilla head was indefinitely closed. The breakfast buffet at Sakura was good, though the Western-style offerings were only so-so. This is a good pick for anyone who either loves Godzilla or wants to be in the heart of the action. It's very close to the 3D projected cat.

They're excellent. Their bathroom area is big compared to other hotels. The room was very comfortable. I will book this hotel again on my next visit to Shinjuku.

This hotel is very clean and quiet. Even with all the noise of the area, our room was almost silent. Shinjuku can be overwhelming to some with the volume of people and night life, but the area felt safe. There is a 7-11 on the ground floor and lots of other places to grab food and drinks on the area. About a 10 minute walk from Shinjuku Station.

The room and hotel itself was impeccable and I would not hesitate to book another of this brand again in another area. The Godzilla theme throughout was a fun touch and being able to see the Godzilla head light up and do its thing from inside the cafe was magical. However, my partner and I who usually enjoyed exploring the streets of Tokyo during the night did not feel safe to do so due to the people and area outside the hotel entrances after 10pm. We witnessed a fight between 2 people that stumbled into the 7/11 on the ground floor, there was intoxicated people gathered at another entrance making all sorts of noise and what made us feel particularly unsafe was the extremely intimidating groups of men (not usually of Japanese decent) gathered at the entrance to certain alleys or streets that would stare you down just for walking past. And for these reasons I would not book this hotel again, it has nothing to do with the staff who were amazing or the cleanliness which was brilliant. It’s purely the area surrounding the hotel that was extremely unsavoury of a night time.
