"We missed the turning as postcode didnt take us to the Bothie direct, but as soon as we saw the Laggan Lock sign right by the bus stop we never missed it. The place was easy to get the keys with the key code. The room its self was not like you see in the photos, which looks all cute and colourful.... and also not much room. "The house was lovely and cosy and we had wide information about what we could do in the area thanks to Carol’s information. We truly enjoyed our stay and we had beautiful memories relaxing and seeing the beauty of the pond and views. The place is a 20 minutes from Inverness and 30 minutes aprox to Lochness. We had time to go to Fall Divach, Fairy Glen in Rosemarkie and watching dolphins in Chanonry Point. Beauly was very close to buy groceries and had nice dinner. "

"We have been to stay here twice now. We love the location. Great hikes, quiet, nature all around. I wish there was a dryer for our clothes. We use the washing machine, but it is usually raining outside or cloudy, so the clothes don't dry. Other than that we love the cozy space and the river just outisde the door. Thank you! "14 of us from Worthing Rowing Club travelled up to take part in Monster the Loch and stayed here for 3 nights. It was perfect for our needs - plenty of bed space and a lovely homely kitchen that we lived in when not on the water. The aga warmed us up on our return from the race and cooked us big breakfasts and dinners. I have the identical aga so it was like being at home! There is everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and we managed to squeeze all of us round the kitchen table but...

"This was the perfect cottage in beautiful surroundings. It was our base for the week whilst we explored Loch Ness and other nearby towns and places. The cottage itself is beautifully decorated and homely. The boating on loch Knockie was also an added bonus and enjoyed by all. Catherine was very helpful and always responded to any queries quickly.
