"Would have given 5 stars but for the plastic chrome coming of bathroom fittings. Despite a refit, I am sure that these items are original from when I first stayed here 25-30 years ago."

Perfect location Quiet with a lovely view and close to the supermarket and eateries Foyer a bit dated Our 1 bedroom apartment fully equipped with many appliances Anything we asked for was acted on promptly Staff extremely helpful and obliging Would definitely stay again"

"Very convenient and good choice for the city. Some bathroom features are a little tired but overall, rooms are large, you can use the Mantra pool and access to the Esplanade is great. Desk service was great: stored my luggage and gave me a towel so I could swim until checkin/room was ready. Desk staff friendly. Delighted to have a bath with my room. Some bowls and cutlery in studio rooms would be great. But otherwise, a good deal. "

"It's an easy walk into town approx 10 minute walk to Woolies. we had a car and found the location of Alatai handy to explore sites beyond the city.We had a studio ground floor appmt, the ensuite bath is dated but serviceable, the room was clean. overall very happy with our 6 day stay."

"Negatives: Upon checkin- i was not advised of where the gym was or other facilities. No notice of what time pool opens or closes. No map of surrounding area. No information. Just directions to my room. Not sure if it was because it was late at night?? I found the desk in my room to have stains, and hair was found in the bathroom. the vents in the bathroom were disgusting. The doona was stained yellow-although it was covered with a top and bottom sheet- i was hot and wanted to sleep with only...
