"Stunning views from every window, short walk down steep but concrete road to small swimming beach (5 minutes). Thoughtfully stocked kitchen, fantastic sauna with essential oils and billards and pool overlooking the sea. 4 big bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. Roof top patio was huge and comfortable. The owners were helpful and responsive and had fresh produce and wine waiting for us upon arrival. It was lovely meeting them. The driveway is steep and requires a quick turn into the parking...

"We had a relaxed and peaceful week away here in Villa Solo. The property is modern, clean, well-furnished and well maintained. Pero's family are very friendly and relaxed, they provided us with lots of wonderful fresh fruit and a home-cooked meal of freshly-caught fish. The lake is great for long walks (beware the mosquitos) and the ferry from Ploce takes you out to pretty islands. We travelled out of season and were surprised that pretty much everything had stopped operating."

"We recently had a fantastic family stay at this hotel in room 260 with an amazing sea view. With two young kids (ages 4 and 7), the all-inclusive option was perfect, and the food was consistently delicious. There were plenty of activities to enjoy, including free access to kayaks, paddleboards, and bike rentals. Our older son loved borrowing a football, and it was great to have so many options included. The staff were incredibly helpful. When our son got a spider bite on his ear, the receptionist lady kindly assisted us in looking for a cream and suggested a nearby emergency clinic if needed. We were also touched by the hotel’s thoughtful gesture of gifting a bottle of local red wine and chocolates to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We spent much of our time enjoying the hotel itself, as there was plenty to entertain the kids right on-site, making for a truly relaxing stay. One tip for future guests: consider bringing insect repellent as the mosquitos were noticeable. Overall, our experience was exceptional, with every detail exceeding our expectations. Thank you to the entire team for such a wonderful stay!"

"Stunning views from every window, short walk down steep but concrete road to small swimming beach (5 minutes). Thoughtfully stocked kitchen, fantastic sauna with essential oils and billards and pool overlooking the sea. 4 big bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. Roof top patio was huge and comfortable. The owners were helpful and responsive and had fresh produce and wine waiting for us upon arrival. It was lovely meeting them. The driveway is steep and requires a quick turn into the parking pad, make sure you are confident with a manual transmission. The location is about 8-10 minute drive to Opuzen, mostly highway driving, where you will find all the groceries you need for your stay. My family loved our relaxing time and would stay again without hesitation. "

"This is a beautiful hotel - the views are stunning and the people delightful. Diana particularly could not have made us feel more welcome or do enough for you. It is further out of Dubrovnik than we had anticipated so probably best to have a car even though driving into the old town in the height of summer is not recommended. If you want a peaceful break, with excellent food (but be aware that you eat what they have on the day - I loved that, albeit expensive, but some may find that restrictive) and wonderful service, there is no place better in my opinion. "
