"During our Kansas Kruse adventures, my husband and I had a great time staying at the Meadowlark Cabin in Gridley. Very small and quaint, it had everything we needed. We spent time down by the stream. Rains brought more water each day and the relaxing stream on Friday turned into a full blown waterfall on Sunday! We lit a fire in the pit and enjoyed a glass of wine. The location is super easy to get to and feels like you are way out in the woods. Denali, the vrbo dog, accompanied us down to the large pond where we sat on the wooden dock with a drink and watched the sunset. The rocking chairs on the porch at Meadowlark are amazingly comfortable and we could have sat there all night. We would definitely recommend this place."

"Every year a group of us travel to a new place to fish (freshwater). This experience was at the top of the list. Fishing was full of excitement, bass and crappie hit hard all weekend. This private lake is about 70 acres plus extended fishing opportunities on the north side of the lake up a navigable creek. Open fire cooking, charcoal grill, or pellet smoker, the perfect setup for meeting all your cooking needs. Everything you need is in the house and will satisfy many different needs for: guys trip, family vacation, quick get-away, or just finding peace and quiet. I will rebook this place many many times. "Cute cabin with all the things you need to cook with and accommodated 5 of us easily. There were small touches that just made the cabin and area super cozy feeling and we immediately felt comfortable and relaxed in the cabin. The outside also had personal touches as well with a backyard setup that was enjoyable and fun to be in! If you’re looking for somewhere quiet and in the country where you can enjoy some family time, I highly recommend this place. The host provided outdoor games for us to enjoy and there was even internet service available to use. While it wasn’t top-of-the-line since you are pretty secluded, it worked well for all of us to be on it. "
