"My daughter and I went to visit family and have to say this was the best hotel by far that we have stayed in whilst in Torquay. (we have used many over the years) They had thought of everything and the attention to detail was superb. I am Gluten Free, the breakfast area had GF bread and cereal well away from any cross contamination with a dedicated toaster just for GF bread. Will definitely stay again in the future. "

"Rating based entirely on the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and the fantastic spa facilities. There was work going on while we were there which was a minor inconvenience but the room we stayed in was the real let down. Dated and uncared for. The bathroom was poorly finished and the shower was not the cleanest. The flooring was lifting and squishy in places and the room itself smelt of damp. "Convenient position. Efficient people on reception. Nice cosy room. I didn't like some noisy guests with no consideration for others e.g. late at night loud talking of adults and children and banging doors. May be a notice in all rooms saying please be considerate to others and close doors quietly and not to speak too loudly. A hook needed on back of bathroom door to hang towel."
