"We spent a week in this apartment and found it an ideal base for local outings, including Taormina and Etna. Forza d'Agro is a bit like a hill-top Sicilian St Ives - all tiny alleys and steep streets and stairs, with excellent restaurants. The chocolate museum was pretty original too! The apartment is well-equipped and clean, with a lovely terrace giving the most amazing views along the coast and across the valley to the mountains."

"The property is beautiful and big. The villa is spacious and comfortable. The hosts were gracious and friendly. Check in and out was easy. I liked that it was north, away from the main part of the city. Car needed but it fit our plans perfectly. "

We took the best room comprised of a large bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, living room, and media room. All of those were a decent size so it felt like living in your apartment. "We had a great vacation at Salvatores house in Pace del Mela. The garden and pool are really big and are perfect to relax and have a good time. Everything was as described and shown in the pictures, we were very happy to spend our time there. The Check-in was easy and Salvatore always helped us quickly when we had a question. "Stunning villa. We loved the pool bar with ice machine and fridge. Pool very refreshing. All the bedrooms huge with aircon and all ensuite bathrooms huge. Nearby Ferdinando restaurant very nice food , worth pre-booking to sit outside., very nice Etna vino bianco. Sigma supermarket near A18 had nice wines. Kids liked Netflix on the TV. "I tried to reached to them a week before my travel to get some information about the transport options to the hotel nobody responded i was already heading towards the hotel when i received an email in italian with useless information. On the day of arrival at reception they told me most of the facilities are closed including the restaurant none of this was mentioned while i made the bookings. The lady at the reception on 23rd around 13:30 while speaking to me in between exchanged words in her language with her staff member and both laughed and passed weird expressions which is very unprofessional and insulting to do to your guests. We went into the room noticed even the basic things are not in the room for a 4 star hotel. Only 2 water bottles in the fridge no kettle no tea bags no iron, Broken cupboards, Ants in the balcony, broken hair dryer, noisy Bed We asked them for extra towels 3 times finally had to get down and ask for 4 time.The AC was blowing air not cooling the room due to this my 1 year old got unwell and had temperature. I requested to make the AC work nothing changed. We went to speak at the reception and when we mentioned our baby is unwell they laughed at us at this moment we realised its a very unsafe place to stay.extremely rude and unprofessional staff worst hotel experience of my life.I had to leave the hotel and make another booking at a different place."

"Property was very friendly and accomidating but wasnt what we paid for.the air conditioning is broken,no housecoats,no kitchen,no parking or breakfast, the rooms are not soundproof. There is also no garden or balconies or terraces.Although the owner has changed things he tried very hard to accommodate us."
