"Lovely, spacious and well appointed property. The gardens are very well kept and all our needs were catered for. The children loved the space, pool and play area. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedding was fresh, clean and tidy. It is secure and safe environment and we will use it again. "Beautiful property overlooking the sea - well equipped and modern inside with tasteful decor. Wonderful communal pool which was deserted most of the time. Set in lovely landscaped gardens. Have given 4 stars only because it is quite a walk into La Herradura down steep hills - about 20 mins - 30 mins. Because it was so hot and humid (34 degrees and 80% humidity) we didn't attempt it and drove - would have been nice to be able to walk into town to get food but then you would sacrifice the location...

"This is a lovely large Villa which was perfect for us as we were 3 families holidaying together. Plenty of outdoor space and the shared pool (although we were the only ones in it) was well kept and a good size for swimming and diving. It's a 10 min walk down a steep hill to the town. Very manageable, but if you struggle then there are plenty of taxis around for a lift back up (7 Euros). Lovely area - very spanish which was great. Almunicar is a 20 min walk along the beach front. "The views and surroundings are nice.Unsafe as we found they had an emergency exit closed with a chain and lock on it and after days complaining they finally took the chain off..In general there was no feedback when putting in complaints about door staying open ,noise of music voices etc coming from kitchen extractor,room not cleaned one day,no hot water first day,toilet cistern etc etc"

"Very nice villa and pool, in a large garden filled with different fruit trees. It is private, neighbouring houses are a long way away. We didn't have any issues with the road either driving it or walking. Lovely views of the mountains. Thank you Peter, we had a much needed rest and relaxing holiday. Agree with an earlier reviewer, Orgiva has its own vibe. It is very laid back and you can find everything you need."

"We have just come back from an amazing two week holiday at this beautiful villa. On arrival the owner and his son met us with the keys, gave us a tour and showed us how everything worked and left us with a food starter kit which was a lovely added touch. Everything you need for a great holiday is available with lots of extras including a coffee machine, hot tub, pool table and ping pong table. The infinity pool is fabulous (just take care if you have young children as there is quite a drop)....

"Beautiful view and perfect size for my family of four. Lots of stairs, but that is the nature of cliffside living. Drive to the beach was easy, street parking tough, but 5E for paid parking. Full kitchen and washing machine, ac and fan, free parking at the entrance to the house, and lovely little pool! "

"The property was a little tricky to find. It needs a satnav for sure, as it is set back off a busy road. At first it takes you to the banquet, conference rooms, which we're totally empty & eerily quiet upon arrival. The hotel is off to the right of this. The hotel itself is overlooking the sea & my room had great sea views. The pool area is nice too. In places it looks a little tired but the room was nice, bed comfortable & area very peaceful. I would stay again"
