"I'm eating this five stars, but I do have some specific caveats that won't mean much to many people. The hotel is excellent. It's located between the train station and road where many buses stop, and much of the city of Toulon is walkable from here. My main caveat was about the WiFi. It's fast but restricted in some very specific ways, and a little unreliable in poor weather too. For most people this'll be fine, it's good enough to mitigate the dent in your roaming data. "Great property just across the road from train station. Perfect for our one night before catching our ferry. We had a nice meal down at the marina which was just a 15min walk away. "It was rated 10/10. It is a run down house in a neighborhood away from everything. The street is so narrow it is impossible to park. It has one spot for parking. Otherwise,you park in a narrow street,and if you leave that lucky spot,you might not find another one. The room had not a private bathroom. If you want to have dinner you have to walk half a mile to the only restaurant in the neighborhood (partnered with the “hotel “ owner. Only one option on the menu,for 35 Euros.Ripoff."

"After travelling for 17 hours, it was 33°C & we couldn’t enter the apartment as the key code provided did not work. We tried to contact the owner for 2 hours, when the owner responded that they were on holiday & gave us a new code for keys. At first, everything in apartment looked fine but quickly we found a broken tap in kitchen, dirty cupboards & fridge. Everywhere was dirty, so I started my holiday by cleaning.
