Would have given better review, but the wallpaper was peeling under the window and it looked like there was some mold there. Tried to get another room but you were booked solid. Wasn't comfortable sleeping in a room that might have mold in it, but at the time didn't have much choice... so that's why the lower marks on the review.

Stinky corridor and stinky room. Was not able to Siri properly because of the bad smell. Not enough breakfast, had to ask multiple times for the breakfast menu items.

Nice place to visit
We were happy with our stay at the Quality Inn in Towanda. The people were friendly, the place was comfortable and clean, and they had a nice free breakfast. Overall we would definitely stay there again some day.

Very good… but
The hotel was basically very clean and well kept with one big exception. I was on the third floor and from the moment I exited the elevator I was hit with the potent odor of mildew. Upon opening my room door it was even worse. I hosed down the room with febreze spray and left for a long walk. After that it was much better but I’m sure still unhealthy. Difficult tho understand why management wouldn’t do what was next to abate this issue!

I walked into my room and immediately smelled mold, mildew, musty stench. I didn’t say anything but In retrospect I should have cuz I was there for 2 nights. The whole hotel had that smell tho. I noticed the wall that faces the outside was in bad shape, wallpaper peeling from the wall, stains from water. The good part was the Staff was extremely nice and very attentive. Kudos to them. The owner needs to reinvest back into the property and not be so cheap.

I stayed Friday and Saturday night the girl who was working till 10 pm was so very nice. She was helpful and made me feel very welcome. Always smiling and polite. I was going through a tough time and she made it a little better!!
