This condo sits one mile west of the quaint Appalachian town of Townsend, directly adjacent to the 10-mile Townsend Historical Trail. You can dine at local eateries, sip wine at Cades Cove Cellars (one mile west), and enjoy free admission to the Little River Railroad & Lumber Museum (one mile east). The stalagmites and stalactites of the Tuckaleechee Caverns are three miles south, and the incredible trails, fishing streams, and waterfalls of Great Smoky Mountains National Park begin four miles south.

By the river treat
This was a lovely place to stay. Clean, comfortable, and great location. Loved the large lawn area, the outdoor seating, the quiet, and the river, of course. We enjoyed our stay here, and hope to return again.

Small but cute
This small condo was perfect for a day or two. Probably too small for a week. Kitchen was appointed adequately. No wine glasses no hot pads. Pots nearly new dishes mismatched. no view of the river from the condo. Had to go to deck at the end of the building. Location is quite a distance from Gatlinburg. But lots of beautiful drives in the area. Yes I would do it again for 2 to 4 days only.

Long weekend away
Townsend is a peaceful small town. The condo is on the river. A deck with rocking chairs is on the back side of the building facing the river. Great place to sit, relax, meet other people that live in the building. We chatted with one of the residents while we were sitting on the deck and learned a lot about the area and the condos. If you are looking for a place that is peaceful, away from the crowd of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, then this is the place for you.

We could not get the heating unit to work in the room. It was cold in the room, and there wasn't any extra blankets any where in the room. There was one thin blanket on the bed, and that was it!. There were no instructions for the heater in the room. We had to wear warm clothes to bed to stay comfortable.

They property was great. Cozy studio in a very peaceful setting. The management company is horrible and have no clue what customer service means. Even after telling me that they made the mistake there wasn’t any offer to make it right. An issue with the cable was reported and never addressed. I will never book a property with this management company.

Great property & location
Overall we had a wonderful stay. The space is small but was perfect for my husband, son & I. There is a coffee shop right next door which was great. Close to several great restaurants & shops and an easy drive over to Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg. We got snowed in one evening but had the basics in the kitchen to be able to cook so that was great. The only downside is that they need a couple of extra linens stocked in the closet for winter months...it was cold & snowy when we were there & there was just a sheet & thin coverlet on the bed so we had to make a Dollar General run for a blanket. And possibly a better TV cable package (just had the basic channels) but other than the one night of the roads being bad with ice we weren't in the room too much for that to matter.

Do NOT recommend staying here if you’re trying to relax watching TV, enjoy sleeping in a comfortable bed, a clean shower, and clean floors. When we arrived there was dog food pieces scattered around the fire place. The TV only had 1 channel, the bed sheets felt like sand paper, the bed was as hard as a rock, and the shower had mold around the bottom of it. Don’t even try to call the support number for help, they will not respond. The location is great and quiet, it is the room that is not worth it.

This property was perfect for us! Very clean and just the right size for a short stay. The nearby stream with the firepit and decks for hanging out were the icing on the cake. We like the quiet of the area and we were close enough to visit our daughter in Maryville.

This condo was very comfortable and cozy. It could have been a little cleaner when we arrived, the shower still had the bar of soap from the last guest in it and the shower doors did not look like they had been cleaned, the coffee pot still had the filter and coffee grounds from the last guest in it. Other than that this condo and its location were top notch!

Perfect location was quiet and peaceful. Unit was nice and clean. An easy drive to Mountains, Gatlinburg, etc. We has access to all we needed...not crazy busy like Pigeon Forge🥴. Kept telling my husband how lucky we were to have found this spot. Small creek behind, firepit, picnic table, grill....miles of paved walking/biking path right in front of the unit. If you have kids and require lots of things to do, you might be better off staying in Pigeon Forge, but if you like it quieter and less hustle and bustle, you will love this place!

Our little family of three had everything we needed in the Little River Loft. It was perfect for our visit with family in the area! I had to sweep under the table right when we arrived-it looked like it hadn’t been swept after the last guest with food particles on the floor and I may not have otherwise noticed, but my toddler-mom eyes see these things now. The counter in the kitchen also had residual food residue in the corners so I gave it 3 stars for cleanliness. Otherwise the place was fresh and clean and we would absolutely stay there again! Perfect for our little family. The outdoor space by the river and the proximity to the bike path made this spot a super fun place to be with a kiddo!

Smokers had been there before us
The unit was full of cigarette smoke which made eyes water and coughing. We had to leave windows open and sprayed every day for 4 day stay. Notified Vacasa but never had a response. Also no interior security lock.
